I currently live in Florida and decided early in the year that I wanted to move back to the Cedar Rapids area to be close to my family and long-time friends after my husband passed. Marie and her transaction coordinator, Brooke Harrigan, were fantastic to work with. I am a person who asks a lot of questions and they were always quick to get answers back to me. I also had a number of "must-have" requirements that Marie really worked hard on to find me condos that met them. From the time I contracted with Marie up to the close day, I took only one trip up to Cedar Rapids. I flew up on a Mon and the next day I walked through the condo to look at some things more closely that I had viewed via Facetime, made an offer within a couple hours of the walkthrough, had a counter offer and then I counteroffered and then the sellers accepted by early evening! I was on a flight back home on Wed. Marie made it easy for me to get everything done even though I am in Florida. That meant the world to me with so many things to deal with related to my husband's passing and getting ready to move. I would highly recommend Marie. She's timely with everything, she listens to you, she responds quickly, she really knows the RE market, and she's genuinely nice! I've been through a number of RE transactions over the years as a buyer and as a seller, and almost all of them had some bumps in the road that made things difficult. This transaction was a nice experience from beginning to the close. Many, many thanks to Marie and Brooke!
